At SEA EIGHT, we have prioritized 5 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN’s 2030 Agenda, and we have integrated them into our sustainability plan. sustainability plan.
Put an end to hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture.
Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns.
Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.
Conserve and sustainably
use the oceans, seas and marine resources
to achieve sustainable development.
Build resilient infrastructure, promote sustainable industrialization and foster innovation.
AT SEA EIGHT we use only 3% of the supplied water that would be needed in a traditional system thanks to the water recirculating technology we use, RAS: Recirculating Aquaculture Systems. This system, designed and optimized by SEA EIGHT’s technical team, is true state of the art in aquatic technology regarding Sustainability, Process Control and Food Safety.
The following pillars of our
sustainability plan integrate SDGs:
At SEA EIGHT we’ve developed our own RAS technology for efficient production with natural resources, thereby reducing the impact on the environment.
We help the ecosystem to develop while avoiding over-exploitation of the oceans and of livestock, while contributing through the production of safe and sustainable protein to ensure that it is available on an increasingly populated planet.
We seek to promote the collective use of what belongs to all of us, consequently unifying economic growth and environmental respect with social welfare, fostering the creation and maintenance of employment, protecting the health and safety of people and ensuring the reduction of poverty and inequality.
We promote protection of the environment and the use of renewable energies, and we are committed to efficiency and recycling, as well as limiting the use of resources and improving the level of social life.
